CHINA TOWN VS CHINA

11/08/2018

Dumplings, Fortune Cookies, Hoisin Duck, Red lanterns and Chopsticks, all of these are stereotypical references to China and its historic culture. But when you see the lanterns hung up above the streets, you feel straight away happier and excited to be here.

China town, LDN

 This rich in culture, and small in area part of Soho was one of the first areas I wandered into when I moved to London. The smell of freshly cooked ducks, the local shop keeper shouting cheerily over to his neighbour. The street is small but the impact is huge.

Best place to eat for Chinese food is HK wok, amazing food and the portions are just what I dream of haha!

For dessert – Bubblewrap (24 wardour street) all the way which is next to – Go for the  Oreo chocolate one – I demolished it!

For authentic little gifts head down to Newport Court – dresses, fans, chopsticks and beautiful colourful fabrics

China Town , NYC

You feel like your walking through a Chinese street in Singapore, the authentic shops, the smells or freshly cooked rice and sweet sour sauce… The residence relaxing on street steps, and in door ways playing card games and stroking a little dog watching over the little kids just down the path… For a few seconds I forgot I was in NYC, the rows of exotic food stalls along Mott street, the smell infused smoke coming from the woks and the loud but infectious languages all getting muddled in one. I cant wait to return!

I recommend a stop at 13 Doyers street – Nom Wah Tea Parlor….. for a street food like no other. I also cheekily bought too much fried egg roll snacks for the road (hey NYC is biggg you need food energy)

China, Beijing

The main street of the city for food is Wangfujing street…. The large banquet eating halls, famous for the freshly carved hoisin ducks prepared straight in front of you, to the smaller streets running off of it, selling fresh sweet buns, sweet treats and street food. Beijing does it best OFCOURSE!!

The other best food streets I found were;

So if your in your home town and want Chinese food go for it its delicious and so diverse in taste and texture, I am sure your all as hungry as me right now after this 🙂 so bye I am getting on the noodles!!

    Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles?
    I mean, what you say is fundamental and all.
    Nevertheless just imagine if you added some great images or video clips
